What independent testers found
What owners report
Repeated substantive reports that the top opening eases loading and the handle works well. A 2022 owner reports owning three and finding them sturdy. Two older reports criticise the shoulder strap, including possible loosening. One 2008 report describes a kitten injuring its mouth while biting the plastic. These are individual reports, not a measured injury rate.
Limits and cautions
- Restricted to an animal that comfortably fits the documented internal space and weighs at most 5 kg. Not a universal cat or rabbit size; a larger animal needs a separately researched carrier. Use the main handle, inspect every closure and support the base.
- Inspect for sharp edges and do not use for an animal that bites the enclosure.
- This is an evacuation carrier, not a crash-tested vehicle restraint or an airline approval.
- Review history spans years and does not prove an unchanged production specification. Do not transfer this pick to other Capri models.
- The published standard delivery total is not a postcode quote. The final charge depends on postcode and appears in basket.
- No extended product warranty was verified.
