What independent testers found
Vetstreet
The review recommends Red Dingo enamel/stainless tags and reports long-term engraving durability. The review shows a paw design, not Compass: evidence transfers to the same material/engraving family, not to a claim about the durability of this exact decorative print.

Limits and cautions
- Only where the 38 mm tag suits the animal and the full required text fits legibly. Check the actual text layout before ordering: owner name and address plus phone contact. The design is decoration, not a navigation instrument.
- The terms exclude engraved/personalised tags from the advertised 180-day change-of-mind return scheme.
- The product advertises a lifetime tag/engraving guarantee; claims handling was not tested.
- If the text cannot fit legibly, choose a different format rather than omitting required details.
- No Irish-address checkout was performed.
